Juliet Ezenwa Maja-Pearce

Before committing entirely to studio practice, Juliet Ezenwa Maja-Pearce taught art, worked at a gallery and assisted at Sam Ovraiti Arts Studios. Widely exhibited at home and abroad, her always-evolving works have earned her many followers around the world. Working mostly in paints, oils and watercolour, she is also exploring mixed media methods using mirrors and found objects, and has introduced her own printmaking method. Her works bring truth to themes such as rights of females in Nigeria and the environmental degradation as a consequence of oil exploration.
